Principal / Director / Writer / Visual Effects Supervisor

Brent Young is an award winning director and visual effects supervisor. He is a member of the Visual Effects Society, Producers Guild of America, and the TEA (Themed Entertainment Association).

"In every form of media, I respond to experiences that combine storytelling and technology. It's in everything I do, from being in a band, to conceptualizing theme park attractions, playing video games, or watching movies."

For over ten years, Brent has directed hundreds of commercials, video game cinematics, attraction films, live action promos, award shows and theatrical experiences. American Greetings, Busch Gardens, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Discovery Networks, Disney, ESPN, Electronic Arts, FOX, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Sea World are some companies he has collaborated with as creative director and project visionary.

The projects are not always straightforward films or broadcast media. Brent directed a 270º computer generated film, for the Western Center museum in California. He served as media director for Sea World’s all new Shamu show, Believe, ultimately earning the highest THEA award for Best Live Show. The previous year he served as visual effects supervisor for Busch Gardens’ newest 4D dark ride attraction Curse of Darkastle, earning a nomination from the Visual Effects Society and another THEA for The Best Attraction of the Year.

He is currently creative director for two theme park attractions for Universal Studios Singapore and writing and directing two attraction films for theme parks in Mainland China, which are also being produced for Large Format distribution.
