Vice President, Production

Hollywood Based, Award-winning studio, Super 78, a leading large format content producer of theme park attraction films and installations, is seeking to hire a Vice President of Production. This dynamic individual will be responsible for the management of projects in development and production at Super 78. The ideal candidate will be motivating, inspiring and a well-rounded team leader. He/She will create, implement and oversee day-to-day operational studio systems, recommend hires and manage supervisors and key personnel, work with Vice President of Administration to oversee the general management of the studio and work directly with the Vice President of Business Affairs in creating initial budgets and schedules for RFPs. He/She will be integral to studio growth and will report directly to the company owners. International and domestic travel necessary for from time to time for project presentations. CG Supervisor

Super 78 is currently seeking to add a well-rounded CG Supervisor to their dynamic team. Candidates should be knowledgeable and experienced in creating visually exciting, real-time and pre-rendered 2D and 3D effects. Working knowledge of applicable software platforms including but not limited to Maya, 3D Studio Max, and VRAY (Z Brush is a plus).

1. Experience developing appropriate production workflows and tasks by working in conjunction with the Art Lead.
2. Ability to identify potential issues during pre-production and participate in problem solving and creation of tool pipeline.
3. Work closely with the Visual Effects Supervisor, advising and communicating an efficient approach for all CG projects at the studio.
4. Consult and communicate project status, needs and issues with the Producer and Director in an efficient and effective manner.
5. Extensive expertise in 3D graphics, particle systems, dynamics and shaders.
6. Ability to oversee and motivate a team of CG artists.
7. Excel in identifying and resolving high level technical demands and issues.
8. Knowledge of post-production process and video editing software.
9. Hands on Max scritping/programming experience.
10. Excellent communication and orginizational skills.

Maya 3D Generalists

Super 78 is currently looking for well-rounded Maya 3D generalists to work on a variety of projects. Candidates should be knowledgeable in modeling, lighting and rendering in addition to the following:

1. Experience in translating a Director's input, concept art, storyboards and written descriptions into a finished product.
2. Demonstrated strong communication skills; you will be working closely with the Director and other artists.
3. A demonstrated proactive approach to task management: This job requires problem solving skills and creative solutions to complex problems.
4. A good sense of graphic design is also helpful.
