DINA BENADON
Principal / CEO / Executive Producer

Dina Benadon is an award-winning producer, board delegate for the PGA-New Media Council, member of Women in Film, Women in Animation, and has served as Vice President of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). She brings fifteen years experience developing and producing special venue/New Media content as Super 78's Principal and CEO. Under her leadership, the studio continues to earn industry recognition, receiving six THEA awards (special venue's highest achievement), three Visual Effects Society nominations, and a Telly in 2007 alone.

Launched in 1997 with creative partner Brent Young, Super 78 was founded on the basis of a common passion uniting Dina and Brent in a common dream: To form a mini-studio of multi-talented artists creating original, family-based content by cultivating a state of the art, full service production studio.

Dina's experience spans multiple media formats (3D, 8/70mm, 15/70mm, Dome projections) for special venue shows including THEA award winners: Sea World's Shamu Believe, Busch Gardens' 4D Darkastle: The Ride, Universal's Revenge of the Mummy, and 2000/2005 World Expos Hanover/Aichi. Dina is driven to produce creatively inspiring and technologically challenging visual stories that can continue development across New Media platforms.

Launching her career in commercial production, Dina worked at RSA Films, Propaganda, and Limelight followed by a five-year tenure at Rhythm & Hues Special Venue/Theme Park division before establishing Super 78.

It was when her father co-founded the LA Weekly and one of Hollywood's first video post-production facilities in the late 70s, that Dina began developing her own aspirations for the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dina graduated with a BA in theater from the University of Southern California. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
