Super 78 partnered to create several upcoming attractions for Mattel Adventure Park. Here’s a selection of work from our involvement.
BARBIE FLIGHT: FROM MALIBU TO BROOKLYN
The Barbie Beach House™ is a dream destination for Barbie fans of all ages. Boasting state-of-the-art technology while simultaneously delivering a serious dose of nostalgia, the Barbie Beach House features an interactive retail experience where fans can build their customized Barbie set in the Barbie Dream Closet Experience™, which uses hologram technology to bring Barbie to life right before guests’ eyes. The attraction also includes a unique Barbie-themed flying theater and The Barbie™ Rooftop bar and restaurant.
HOT WHEELS: UNLEASHED
In this action-packed 4D theater experience based on the blockbuster “Hot Wheels Unleashed” video game, guests are shrunk down to the scale of a Hot Wheels car. They take the wheel of the iconic “Roger Dodger” vehicle and race over a wild custom track built in an automobile repair garage. The massive course features all the greatest track elements and hazards of the game, including a giant web-spitting spider and Nitro Bot, the towering laser-eyed “boss monster.”
The race even goes “off-course” briefly, heading out of the garage and onto the city streets, where “real” cars become the hazard!
THOMAS ADVENTURE TRAIN: TREASURE HUNT
Super 78 created a live Geppetto show featuring Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends Percy, Kana, and Nia. Guests have the chance to interact with Thomas as he prepares to search for lost treasure along with his All Engines Go friends!
BARBIE DREAM CLOSET
Fans can check out the one-of-a-kind Barbie Dream Closet Experience. Using state-of-the-art hologram technology, Barbie comes to life to help curate your ultimate Dream Closet wardrobe. In the spirit of dreaming together, Barbie becomes your host for an immersive experience which allows guests to select an exclusive Barbie of their own and create a custom wardrobe.
