Super 78 developed our first two Flying Theaters, “Flying Over America” and “Flight of the Dragon,” for the OCT Group in 2010. Since then, we have become a leading creator of Flying Theater attractions, expertly choreographing deeply immersive dome-projected media, 360° scenic design, captivating soundscapes, and engrossing storytelling into a cohesive whole.
BARBIE FLIGHT
From Malibu to Brooklyn
Join “Malibu” Barbie and “Brooklyn” Barbie as they fly from coast to coast over America’s beautiful landscapes.
Mattel Adventure Park, Glendale, AZ (Under Construction)
Barbie, one of the world’s most popular entertainment characters, will star in her first theme park attraction at the Mattel Adventure Park in Glendale, Arizona. “Barbie Flight: From Malibu To Brooklyn” will be a Flying Theater ride, taking guests on a soaring adventure with two Barbies: the original Barbie who lives in Malibu, and her good friend Barbie, from Brooklyn, New York.
Guests join the Barbies on a fun-filled flight from the California coast to New York City, where they are starring in a massive concert at Times Square. Along the way, guests will dive deep into the ocean, glide down a snowy mountainside, race behind F1 cars, and even rocket into deep space, before finally arriving in Manhattan!

Flying Over Indonesia debuted as an anchor attraction for this new indoor theme park in 2019. Visitors to the “Adventure Tours Indonesia” destination, ready to take paragliding lessons, are instead treated to a magical flight across thousands of miles. Some of the stunning locations guests experience include Mt. Bromo, Pagaruyung Palace, Komodo Island, Green Canyon, the Baiturrahman Mosque, and even the undersea coral reefs of the Bunaken National Marine Park.

Debuting Summer 2016 at Seattle’s landmarked Pier 57, Wings Over Washington takes guests on a magical aerial trip over the most beautiful locations in Washington State: the San Juan Islands, the Olympic National Forest, Mt. Rainier, Snoqualmie Falls, and more.
Super 78 created a rich narrative for the adventure. The dramatic live-action visuals are enhanced with state-of-the-art digital effects and the pre-show and main theater experiences include detailed sets, animatronic figures, and a highly themed ride vehicle.

Flight of the Dragon, written and directed by Super 78’s Brent Young, is a large format film that captures astonishing aerial footage of China’s Great Wall, scenic views of the Yellow Mountains, Zhangjiajie, and the Lijiang River, taking guests through an extraordinary tour of China’s most famous and beautiful landmarks.
This magical story of China begins with a photo-real, computer generated Dragon who guides the audience through the spectacular landmarks right to the grand finale, a dazzling fireworks display over Shanghai’s futuristic Pudong district.

Written and Directed by Super 78 principal Brent Young, “Flying over America” is a five minute and thirty second high definition film that celebrates America’s most beautiful and breathtaking vistas and landmarks as we follow legendary Chinese aviators Feng Ru and Tan Gen on an exciting aerial ride across the country.
Our team spent four weeks in helicopters over various United States landmarks to film a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Super 78 used RED digital camera for the live shoots. We also produced the design, VFX, and installation.
