NIGHTFLIGHT EXPEDITION
Super 78 proudly contributed to Dollywood’s newest attraction, NightFlight Expedition, a groundbreaking indoor adventure coaster that blends the thrills of a dark ride, water ride, roller coaster and flying attraction into a single, seamless experience. The attraction is set within the enchanting world of Wildwood Grove and tells an original story inspired by the wonder and beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Guests join local botanists Cora and Jasper Oakley on an unforgettable adventure to uncover the mystery surrounding Wildwood Grove’s glowing Wildwood Tree. Guided by a weathered journal, they journey to a hidden bioluminescent lake deep within the Smoky Mountains. Along the way, guests board a flying boat that carries them through the skies, across whitewater rapids, down a rugged slope and into a hidden cave, where the extraordinary secret of the lake is finally revealed.
Working under the creative leadership of Herschend Family Entertainment’s Erica Rutledge, Creative Director and Senior Director of Guest Experience Development, and in collaboration with PGAV Destinations, which developed the attraction’s overall narrative and visual direction, the award-winning Super 78 studio produced the immersive media sequences that bookend the attraction’s opening and finale.
SASQUATCH MOUNTAIN
Sasquatch Mountain, Miner’s Landing’s second attraction developed with Super 78, takes guests on a thrilling off-road adventure to find conclusive evidence that Bigfoot creatures are real.
Guests are volunteers for this search mission, riding in rugged, custom-designed self-driving vehicles. The adventure takes guests down a log flume, into a lost mine on a roller coaster-style rail car, and even soaring into the air tethered to a helicopter.
PRINCESS CRUISES 360 DINING EXPERIENCE
Super 78 partnered with Princess Cruise Lines to create 360, a groundbreaking immersive dining experience for its Discovery and Enchanted ships, and more to follow.
This experience seats 20 guests in a custom-designed circular space, surrounding them in floor-to-ceiling media and interactive tabletop projections. Guests follow the journey of a female artist (portrayed by Brooke Shields) on a cruise around the Mediterranean, as she journals her remarkable travels—and meals—in Greece, Spain, Italy and France (all destinations Princess serves).
BARBIE FLIGHT
Barbie, one of the world’s most popular entertainment characters, will star in her first theme park attraction at the Mattel Adventure Park in Glendale, Arizona. “Barbie Flight: From Malibu To Brooklyn” will be a Flying Theater ride, taking guests on a soaring adventure with two Barbies: the original Barbie who lives in Malibu, and her good friend Barbie, from Brooklyn, New York.
Guests join the Barbies on a fun-filled flight from the California coast to New York City, where they are starring in a massive concert at Times Square. Along the way, guests will dive deep into the ocean, glide down a snowy mountainside, race behind F1 cars, and even rocket into deep space, before finally arriving in Manhattan!
HOT WHEELS: UNLEASHED
In this action-packed 4D theater experience based on the blockbuster “Hot Wheels Unleashed” video game, guests are shrunk down to the scale of a Hot Wheels car. They take the wheel of the iconic “Roger Dodger” vehicle and race over a wild custom track built in an automobile repair garage. The massive course features all the greatest track elements and hazards of the game, including a giant web-spitting spider and Nitro Bot, the towering laser-eyed “boss monster.”
The race even goes “off-course” briefly, heading out of the garage and onto the city streets, where “real” cars become the hazard!
